This electrode is used in a wide range of welding applications, from joining similar heat-resistant steels and cast steels to joining high-strength structural, fine-grained, and pipeline steels. The stick electrode is particularly well-suited for welding workpieces with wall thicknesses up to 30 mm and for welding root passes. Böhler FOX DMO Ti is approved for long-term use at temperatures up to 550°C.
