Engineered specifically for severe corrosion environments, special applications, & welding of dissimilar jpoins, rutile-coated, fully austenitic E 27 31 4 Cu LR / E383-17 type electrode; primarily designed for welding steels such as 1.4563 / UNS N08028 (Alloy 28)
It has high corrosion resistance to sulphuric and phosphoric acids. It exhibits excellent pitting resistance in acidic solutions containing chlorides and fluoride.
Main applications include offshore industry, heat exchangers, and welded joints in the chemical industry.
