Bohler EV 70 Mo (High Strength) Low Alloy Steel Stick Electrodes
Bohler EV 70 Mo basic-coated, Mo-Ni-alloyed electrode with high ductility and crack resistance for applications on fine-grained steel grades with high strength. Suitable for service temperatures between -60°C and +350°C. Metal recovery approx. 115%. Easy to handle in all positions except vertical down. very low hydrogen content (according to AWS-condition HD < 4 ml/100 g weld metal). They provides high crack resistance, heavy-duty toughness, and excellent ageing resistance under stressful mechanical conditions.
Features
- Specifically formulated with a low-hydrogen basic coating to minimise the risk of hydrogen-induced cold cracking in high-tensile steels.
- Features high arc stability, smooth running performance, and easy slag removal, ensuring high-quality, X-ray-safe weld deposits.
- Highly manageable in all standard welding positions except for vertical-down.
- Optimised for High Temperatures: Specifically ideal for high-yield steel constructions that operate in elevated service limits up to +350°C
