Bohler Fox CN 16/6 M-HD (Martensitic Steels) Stainless Steel Stick Electrodes

Bohler Fox CN 16/6 M-HD are high alloy, basic coated stick electrodes engineered specifically for joining & surfacing soft martensitic stainless steels. Widely used in the construction of water turbines, hydro-power components, and general chemical or petrochemical processing equipment exposed to water and steam, offers good resistance to water and steam corrosion due to its balanced chromium and nickel content.

Features

  • Basic-coated with high deposition efficiency (approx. 135%).
  • Extremely low weld metal hydrogen content (HD ≤ 5 ml/100 g), reducing the risk of cracking.
  • Stable arc, easy weld pool control, and clean seam properties.
  • Usable in all standard welding positions except vertical-down

Technical Data

  • EN ISO 3581-A, E Z 16 6 Mo B 6 2 H5
  • High-alloy, basic-coated, soft-martensitic stainless steel.
  • Extremely low, rated at HD ≤ 5 ml/100 g.
  • Approximately 135% due to the heavy-duty (HD) iron-powder coating formulation
