Bohler Fox CN 19/9 M (Austenitic Steels) Stainless Steel Stick Electrodes
Core wire alloyed, rutile coated electrode type E 20 10 3 R/ E308Mo-17 (mod.) , enriched with alkaline components, especially suitable for ferrite-austenite compounds and for intermediate layers for welding coatings .
The material can be used in the temperature range –80 °C to +300 °C and can be used in all welding situations – except for drop welding – and is very well processed. The electrode convinces with its quiet welding behaviour , clean seams and an excellent AC suitability.
Features
- Dissimilar Joints: Rutile coated electrode for the connection of high-strength, low-alloy on and steels, veredelbare armoured steel and dissimilar compounds with Cr, Ni, Mn or other steels.
- Weld Cladding: Frequently used for buttering layers and corrosion-resistant surface overlays.
- Ferrite/Chromium Balance: Offers a tailored chromium and ferrite content optimised to handle specific stress and cracking resistance requirements in mixed-metal transitions
