Bohler Fox CN 20/25 M (Austenitic Steels) Stainless Steel Stick Electrodes
Bohler Fox CN 20/25 M are premium high alloy austenitic stainless steel stick electrodes, they are specifically designed for welding 904L / UNS N08904 / 1.4539 type steels and other highly alloyed austenitic grades subjected to exceptionally aggressive, corrosive environments. Primary applications are manufacturing and handling plants for sulphuric and phosphoric acids, environments involving seawater and brackish water systems, ,flue gas desulphurisation (FGD) plants, pulp & paper production, and the petrochemical industry.
Features
- Offers excellent operating features and ease of handling in all positions, except vertical-down.
- Produces a highly stable arc with minimal spatter, excellent slag detachability, and smooth, finely rippled weld seams.
- The over-alloyed molybdenum composition successfully compensates for weld metal segregation typical of high-alloy CrNi metals
Technical Data
- AWS A5.4 / SFA-5.4, E385-15 (mod.)
- EN ISO 3581-A, E 20 25 5 Cu N L B 2 2
- The core wire is over-alloyed with Molybdenum (~6.2%) and includes Copper (Cu) and Nitrogen (N) additions
- Delivers a remarkably high Pitting Resistance Equivalent (PREN ≥ 45). Particularly good resistance to inter-granular corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, crevice and pitting corrosion.
