Fox EAS 2 (LF) are high-alloyed, basic coated, austenitic stainless, 308L, Low Ferrite, for low service temperature & chemically resistant applications.
Features
- Offers reliable toughness at cryogenic service temperatures down to –196 °C, and resists intergranular corrosion in wet corrosion up to +350 °C.
- Provides 100% X-ray safety, excellent root pass and positional welding characteristics, good gap bridging, and easy slag removal in narrow preparations.
- Ideal for joining similar low-carbon 18% Cr / 10% Ni stainless steels, stabilised steels, and cast stainless steel equivalents (such as 304L)
