Formulated with a mild nickel alloy, it is designed to achieve exceptionally high toughness, crack resistance, and strength on higher-strength steel grades. It provides strong, reliable joints for demanding oil, gas, and structural steel projects.

- Root Passes: Exceptionally suited for vertical-up root runs on Direct Current Negative (DC-) polarity.
- Filler & Cover Layers: Best operated on Direct Current Positive (DC+) or Alternating Current (AC).
- Significantly faster travel and deposition speeds compared to traditional standard AWS E8018 electrodes, vastly reducing welding cycle times on major infrastructure projects.
- Delivers highly reliable impact strength properties and crack resistance down to temperatures as low as –40 °C.
- Hermetically sealed, allowing pipeliners to weld immediately out of the box without requiring time-consuming pre-drying ovens
