The Bohler Fox EV 62 are specifically designed to provide exceptional low-temperature toughness and superior crack resistance in heavy-stress applications.

Features

  • Certified H5 classification guarantees a diffusible hydrogen content of ≤ 5 ml/100g. This offers critical protection against hydrogen-assisted cold cracking. 
  • Delivers outstanding Charpy V-Notch impact toughness at service temperatures as low as -60ºC. 
  • Fully CTOD (Crack Tip Opening Displacement) and NDT (Nil-Ductility Transition) tested for high radio-graphical soundness. 
  • The Mn-Ni chemistry ensures highly stable mechanical integrity under both static and dynamic loads

  • AWS A5.5 / SFA-5.5, E8018-G (E8018-C3 mod.)
  • 2560-A, E 50 6 Mn1Ni B 4 2 H5
  • Optimised for DC+ (Direct Current Electrode Positive) to maintain a stable, well-controlled arc.
  • Highly weldable in all conventional positions except for vertical-down.
  • If required, bake at 300–350°C for a minimum of 2 hours to clear residual moisture
