Bohler Fox EV 75 (High Strength) Low Alloy Steel Stick Electrodes
Bohler Fox EV 75 is a premium, basic-coated, low-alloy stick electrode (SMAW) are engineered specifically for welding high-strength, quenched and tempered fine-grained constructional steels. Primarily utilised in critical high-load fabrication sectors heavy structural steel frames, bridges, and crane building, offshore structures and maritime vessels, Pressure vessels, pen-stocks, and high-strength industrial piping.
Features
- It features a specialised Mn-Ni-Cr-Mo alloying system that delivers exceptionally high ductility and crack resistance.
- Certified to HD < 4 ml/100 g of weld metal according to AWS conditions. This ultra-low hydrogen profile prevents hydrogen-induced cold cracking in highly stressed joints.
- The electrode uses a moisture-resistant coating and is often supplied in DrySystem™ (or VacPac) vacuum packaging, allowing operators to weld directly out of the box without time-consuming pre-baking cycles.
- It provides a reliable metal recovery yield of approximately 120%.
- Offers excellent mechanical toughness at extreme temperatures ranging from –60°C up to +400°C
