Bohler Fox FF (Heat Resistant) Stainless Steel Stick Electrodes
They are engineered explicitly for joining and overlaying heat-resistant rolled, forged, and cast steel components
Features
- The basic flux coating ensures low diffusible hydrogen levels and excellent weld metal purity, drastically minimising the risk of thermal or cold cracking.
- Highly compatible for joining alike or matching chemistry materials, notably heat-resistant rolled, forged, and cast steel grades, as well as ferritic CrSiAl steels.
- Built with a basic core wire alloy that yields a fully austenitic stainless steel deposit.
Technical Data
- AWS A5.4 / SFA-5.4, E309-15
- EN ISO 3581-A, E 22 12 B 2 2
- It features a basic coating with a core wire alloy.
- Thermal Limits: Highly stable at extreme temperatures, it provides reliable scaling resistance up to 950°C.
- Gas Environment Note: For weld joints exposed to reducing, sulphurous gases, the fi nal layer has to be deposited by means of the electrode
