Bohler Fox Red BR 160 (High Recovery) Mild Steel Stick Electrodes
The Bohler Fox Red BR 160 is a rutile-basic coated, high-recovery (~160%) mild steel stick electrodes designed for high efficiency & high deposition welding for medium-to-heavy section mild and carbon-manganese steel fabrication, structural steelworks, shipbuilding, and tank/vessel construction. Filling V-butts and performing long, straight horizontal or downhand fillet welds
Features
- Built with iron powder in the flux coating to yield roughly 160% metal recovery relative to the core wire weight, significantly speeding up production.
- Produces smooth, finely-rippled welds with clean profiles.
- Features easy slag removal and stable arc performance.
- Works efficiently with AC (alternating current) and DC power setups
