Bohler Phoenix SH Chromo 2 KS (Creep Resistant) Low Alloy Steel Stick Electrodes
The Bohler Phoenix SH Chromo 2 KS is a basic-coated, CrMo-alloyed stick electrode engineered for welding creep-resistant, high-temperature steels containing roughly 2.2% Chromium and 1% Molybdenum. Used for the manufacturing and maintenance of heavy boilers, superheaters, and high-temperature steam piping.
Features
- Alloy Composition: Core wire alloyed with 2.2% Cr and 1% Mo (along with trace element control) designed for high-stress elevated temperatures.
- Creep Resistance: Maintains structural strength and prevents long-term deformation or embrittlement under continuous thermal load.
- Application Fields: Widely used in the petrochemical industry, power generation plants, hydrocrackers, and for heavy boilers, superheaters, and high-pressure steam pipelines
