Bohler Q E 316L-17 (Austenitic Steel) Stainless Steel Stick Electrodes
Designed for shielded metal arc welding (SMAW/Stick), i. It is widely considered an industry standard for joining low-carbon, molybdenum-bearing, acid-resistant 316 and 316L stainless steel grades.
Features
- AC or DC+ polarity, providing an extremely stable arc with minimal spatter loss
- Exceptional Corrosion Protection: The low carbon content protects the heat-affected zone against intergranular corrosion at operating temperatures up to 400°C. The inclusion of molybdenum delivers outstanding protection against pitting and crevice corrosion in harsh chloride environments.
- Aesthetic Finish: Produces a highly smooth, clean bead profile capable of taking a high polish
- Self releasing slag
