Bohler Thermanit 25/22 H are premium, high alloyed fully austenitic stainless steel filler metal, engineered for joining & overlay welding in highly aggressive corrosive environments. Specially designed to handle the highly punishing ammonium carbonate environments found in chemical processing. Ideally suited for welding matching or similar fully austenitic stainless steels, such as 1.4465 (X1CrNiMoN25-22-2) or UNS S31050.

  • Offers exceptional safeguarding against inter-granular corrosion (IGC), selective corrosion, and chloride-induced pitting and stress corrosion cracking (SCC).

  • Formulated to ensure clean, high-purity deposits that minimise the vulnerability to hot-cracking—a typical risk associated with fully austenitic structures
