Bohler Thermanit 620 (Corrosion Protection) NiCrMo alloys Stick Electrodes
Bohler Thermanit 620 is a basic-coated, high-efficiency NiCrMo stick electrode designed primarily for joining 9% nickel steels used in liquefied natural gas (LNG) and 5% nickel steels used in liquefied ethylene gas.
Features
- Anti-Magnetic Arc Blow Design: Engineered specifically to be This allows operators to avoid the magnetic arc blow effect, which can occur when welding coldtough nickel steels on DC polarity. It can also be run on DC+ if desired.
- Features a high metal recovery rate of approximately 150% due to its advanced coating chemistry.
- Delivers low spatter formation, smooth arc stability, clean bead appearance, and easy slag detachability
