Bohler Thermanit 690 (Corrosion Protection) NiCr alloys Stick Electrodes

Ni-base stick electrodes for joining high corrosion resistant steels with resistance in oxidising media like nitric acid, primarily for industries in nuclear power engineering -frequently used for welding steam generator tubing and components exposed to high-temperature pure water environments, chemical & petrochemical processing - deal for nitric acid production plants and vessels handling highly concentrated oxidising chemicals.

Features

  • High resistance to stress corrosion cracking in pure water environments and resistance in oxidising media e.g. nitric acid.
  • Excellent mechanical stability and high-temperature oxidation resistance, making it suitable for aggressive chemical processing conditions.
  • The basic coating delivers high metallurgical purity, clean weld beads, and excellent structural integrity resistant to hot cracking.

Technical Data

  • AWS A5.11 / SFA-5.11, ENiCrFe-7
  • EN ISO 14172, E Ni 6152 (NiCr30Fe9)
  • Crafted for joining materials with exceptional resistance in heavily oxidising media.
  • Perfectly suited for welding Alloy 690 (UNS N06690 / Material Number 2.4642 NiCr29Fe)
