Bohler Thermanit ATS 4 (Heat Resistant) Stainless Steel Stick Electrodes
Engineered for joining and cladding matching or similar heat-resistant and creep-resistant austenitic stainless steel types, offering remarkable metallurgical stability under thermal stress. High temperature resistant up to 700 °C (1292 °F); resistant to scaling up to 800 °C (1472 °F). For surfacing and joining applications on matching / similar high temperature resistant steels / cast steel grades.
Features
- The basic-coated formulation delivers exceptional, deep weld metal toughness and purity. It offers significantly higher resistance to hot cracking compared to rutile-coated alternatives.
- Engineered for high arc stability across multiple orientations, supporting welding in flat, horizontal, vertical-up, and overhead positions.
- Produces a uniform bead profile with slag that releases easily, minimising post-weld grinding and preparation times.
