Bohler UTP 1925 (Joining & Repair-Stainless steels) Special application Stick Electrodes

The UTP 1925 is a basic-coated E385-16 stainless steel welding electrode, specially developed for welding highly corrosion-resistant steels such as 904L (1.4539). It provides excellent resistance to acids, chloride-containing environments, and demanding chemical processing applications. High corrosion resistance: Offers excellent protection and good corrosion properties in reducing atmospheres. Temperature resistance: The weld metal is stainless and resistant to intergranular corrosion up to 350 degrees Celsius.

Features

  • Operates smoothly on both Direct Current Electrode Positive (DC+) and Alternating Current (AC).
  • Delivers a highly stable, quiet arc with minimal spatter, ensuring a clean weld zone.
  • Features excellent slag release, which lifts away easily to minimize post-weld cleaning and reduce the risk of slag inclusions.
  • Produces a finely rippled weld bead profile with smooth transitions to the base material.

Technical Data

  • AWS A5.4 / SFA-5.4, E385-16 (mod.)
  • EN ISO 3581-A, E 20 25 5 Cu N L R 3 2
  • Material Number: Approx. 1.4519
  • Target Base Materials: Designed for highly corrosion-resistant steels
