Bohler UTP 6222 Mo (Corrosion Protection) NiCrMo alloys Stick Electrodes
UTP 6222 Mo is a nickel-based welding wire that is particularly suited for joining and surfacing on a variety of nickel alloys, austenitic steels, and low temperature nickel steels. It is also suitable for use in austenitic-ferritic joints and claddings. The weld metal is heat resistant and can withstand operating temperatures up to 1000 degrees Celsius. However, it is important to note that prolonged heat treatment within the temperature range of 600 to 800 degrees Celsius can result in a slight decrease in ductility. UTP 6222 Mo is also scale-resistant in low-sulphur atmospheres up to 1100 degrees Celsius and has high creep strength.
