Bohler UTP 683 LC (Joining & Repair-Stainless steels) Special application Stick Electrodes
Bohler UTP 683 LC are rutile-coated, synthetic high-performance stick electrodes. They are specifically designed for high-efficiency joining, repair, and surfacing applications involving stainless austenitic CrNiMo steels and dissimilar joints between austenitic and ferritic steels. Because they are synthetic electrodes with a 180% metal recovery rate, it deposits metal much faster than standard rods, making them ideal for high-productivity repair work.
Features
- Perfect for low-carbon austenitic CrNiMo steels
- Depositing buffer layers or overlaying corrosion-resistant claddings on structural steels
- Delivers exceptionally smooth, notch-free weld surfaces
- Stable arc
- Minimal spatter
- Slag removes very easily and without leaving behind residues, saving labour time during multi-pass or repair applications
