Bohler Avesta 2205 (Duplex) Stainless Steel Stick Electrodes
Are premium, high-alloyed rutile-coated stick electrode explicitly engineered for Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) of 22% Cr duplex ferritic-austenitic stainless steels like UNS S31803, UNS S32205, and 1.4462. The electrodes deposits a duplex weld metal consisting of an approximate 50:50 matrix of ferrite and austenite. It is designed with an over-alloyed nickel to guarantee the correct phase balance in the solidified weld zone.
