Bohler WEARstick Co 1 (Cobalt alloys) Stick Electrodes

Rutile coated stick electrodes on cobalt-base, core-wire-alloyed base stick electrodes with excellent resistance to metal-to-metal and abrasive wear without impacts. Hardness: 54 - 56 HRC, and high temperatures up to 900 ºC. Typical applications are valve seats, cones, and sealing faces for combustion engines and industrial fittings, working parts in the chemical and power generation industries, cutting, crushing, milling, mixing, and drilling tools.

Features

  • Rutile coating that creates a smooth spray-type arc with minimal spatter.
  • Produces a homogeneously structured, finely rippled weld seam that requires minimal post-weld cleanup.
  • Engineered for effortless slag detachment, reducing downtime between welding passes.
  • The deposit is tough enough to resist wear but can still be finished to precise tolerances using grinding or tungsten carbide cutting tools.
  • Offers a combination of severe abrasion resistance and high corrosion resistance

Technical Data

  • AWS A5.13, E CoCr-C
  • EN ISO 14700, E Co3
  • Deposit Hardness: 54 – 56 HRC (pure weld deposit)
  • Excellent resistance to metal-to-metal wear and severe abrasion without impacts.
  • Smooth spray arc, homogeneous and finely rippled seam, and very easy slag removal.
  • Can be machined via grinding or with tungsten carbide cutting tools
