Bohler Wearstick Dur 300 (Wear Protection Difficult to weld-Multi Purpose) Stick Electrodes
Bohler Wearstick Dur 300 (also known as UTP Dur 300) are basic coated hard-facing stick electrodes designed for tough build up and medium-hard surfacings, resistant to compression and rolling wear.
Features
- Offers very good resistance against compression and rolling strain.
- Ideal for repair and buildup on structural and high-strength machine components subject to rolling or compressive stress, such as crane wheels, gear parts, drive wheels, and Mn-Mo alloy rails.
- hold stick electrodes as vertically as possible and with a short arc.
- Preheating heavy parts or high-tensile base materials to 250–350°C is generally recommended.
- If exposed to dampness, redry the electrodes at 300°C for 2 hours before use
Technical Data
- EN ISO 14700: E Fe1 / DIN 8555: E 1-UM-300
- Approx. 300 HB (pure weld deposit) up to 350 HB (single layer on 0.5% C steel)
