Bohler Wearstick Dur 580 (Wear Protection Difficult to weld-Multi Purpose) Stick Electrodes
Bohler Wearstick DUR 580 (also known as UTP DUR 580) are basic coated stick electrodes for crack-proof, wear-resistant surfacing. Hardness of the weld metal approx. 58 HRC, uses on surfacing and hardfacing industrial components subject to intense abrasion, friction, and moderate impact, such as in mining, earth-moving, and crushing equipment.

- Designed with advanced moisture resistance to strictly limit diffusible hydrogen levels, greatly reducing the risk of underbead cold cracking.
- Can be reliably applied to a wide array of base metals including carbon steel, cast steel, tool steel, and high-manganese steel.
- Capable of multi-pass building when paired with appropriate lower-hardness buffer layers (such as Wearstick Dur 250) to cushion the highly rigid top coats.
