Bohler WEARstick XD 60 (Difficult to weld-Extreme abrasion) Stick Electrodes

Bohler (UTP) WEARstick XD 61, (formerly LEDURIT 61) Hardfacing Electrodes are a premium choice for applications where extreme abrasion resistance is required. These electrodes are designed to deposit a high-chromium alloy that is exceptionally hard and durable. They are also impact and heat resistant, making them ideal for use in a wide range of demanding environments.

These electrodes are typically used to protect metal surfaces from wear and tear caused by abrasion, erosion, and impact. They are commonly used on conveyor screws, digging and excavator teeth, sand pumps, mixer wings and as final protective layers over tough-hard base deposits.

Features

  • The rutile-basic coating provides an exceptionally stable arc with minimal spatter.
  • It leaves a finely rippled, flat weld bead that requires very little post-weld dressing.
  • Features excellent slag release, making slag removal quick and effortless.

Technical Data

  • Approximately 60 HRC for pure weld metal.
  • EN ISO 14700: E Fe14 / DIN EN 14700 (formerly UTP LEDURIT 60).
  • Features easy slag removal and leaves a smooth, finely rippled bead surface that often requires no extra grinding.
  • Operates reliably on both AC and DC+ polarity, though DC+ is typically preferred for optimal deposition.
