Bohler WEARstick XD 65 (Difficult to weld-Extreme abrasion) Stick Electrodes
Bohler wearstick XD 65 are High efficiency stick electrodes for wear-resistant claddings against extreme sliding mineral abrasion also at elevated temperatures up to 500°C. Hardness approx. 65 HRC. Primary applications are earthmoving & Mining - surfacing on bucket teeth, excavators, and ground-engaging components, cement & Brick Industries -working parts exposed to severe mineral wear and sliding friction, steel Mills - radial breakers and revolving-bar screens in sintering plants.
Features
- Approximately 65 HRC for pure weld deposit (approx. 58 HRC on 0.15% C steel; approx. 55 HRC on high Mn-steel).
- Extreme wear resistance is achieved via a very high concentration of special carbides including Molybdenum (Mo), Vanadium (V), Tungsten (W), and Niobium (Nb).
- High recovery efficiency of approximately 265%.
- Provides a smooth spray arc with an even droplet transfer and a smooth bead that generally requires no grinding or finishing
Technical Data
