The JASIC EVO Power MIG 200 (EMP-200) is a high performance MIG welder designed for precise, efficient, and safe welding.  It has been introduced into the Jasic range to provide the same Jasic performance and reliability at an even better price point than the EVO PFC models.

So, what’s different?  The EVO Power MIG is a 230V machine, rather than a wide voltage like its bigger brother.  The interface does not have the same synergic control, but it does have the essential wire feed and voltage controls, with clear digital displays.  Also, inductance is variable for fine tuning the arc characteristics.

Designed with advanced inverter technology and running on single phase 230V, this powerful welding machine delivers smooth arcs and consistent results on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. With versatile MIG and MMA welding modes, adjustable wire feed control, and a broad welding range suitable for both processes, this machine is ideal for professional workshops, fabrication environments, and serious DIY use. Inside the wire feed door, is a very handy settings chart.  Simply, find the material type and thickness in the chart and the WFS and Voltage settings are listed as a good starting point for that welding application.

Control Panel Overview

1. Warning indicators: Yellow LED for overheating; red LED for under/over voltage.

2. Top digital display with rotary encoder: Adjust wire feed speed, current control, and material thickness.

3. Bottom digital display with rotary encoder: Adjust voltage, inductance/arc force, and burn back time.

4. Welding process selection area and selector switch: Choose MIG or MMA welding modes.

5. Torch trigger mode selection area: Switch between 2T or 4T for MIG torch finger control.

6. VRD warning indicator: The VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) LED will light when the machine is in MMA mode and the VRD function is enabled.

7. Top digital rotary encoder: Allows precise adjustment of wire feed speed and MMA welding current control.

8. Bottom digital rotary encoder: Adjust MIG voltage control, inductance/arc force, and burn-back time, depending on the welding process mode.

9. Wire inch switch: Activates the feed motor to advance wire through the torch; LED lights while inching.

10. Gas purge switch: Starts/stops gas flow for setup or checks; LED lights while purging.
