Jasic 51313P.10 Flat Cutting Tip PT-60 1.0mm
A pack of 10 Cutting Tips suitable for the hugely popular Jasic CUT 45 and Jasic EVO CUT 45 models – part number 51313p.10. These cutting tips fit the PT-60 plasma torch (supplied with the Jasic CUT 45) and the IPT-60 plasma torch, (supplied with the Jasic EVO CUT 45). A 1.0mm flat cutting tip back striking.
The nozzle focuses the plasma arc by funneling gas flow. The nozzle or tip orifice should be clean, symmetrical and the correct size to maintain cutting performance. As the tip or nozzle orifice is worn away with normal applications, the arc will get wider and less defined.
When to replace -
Changeover of this consumable should be performed when the orifice becomes damaged, the edges round off and mis-shapen. Failure to change these can result in poor performance.
The 51313p.10 nozzle is for use when drag cutting up to 50A. Generally speaking, amperage is set to accommodate the material type and thickness it is cutting. The smaller the amperage of the nozzle, the smaller the hole is in the end. A small hole in the cutting tip will provide a finer cut with a smaller kerf, as opposed to a larger amperage cutting tip which will have a larger hole.
Please bear in mind though, using a higher amperage setting on the machine than the cutting tip is designed for will result in the tip becoming damaged quickly and poor cutting performance.
