Genuine Thermacut Nozzles 45A for the Duramax torch, designed for use with the Hypertherm Powermax 65,85 and 105 plasma cutting systems.
This replacement nozzles, part number T-11378, is one of the most commonly replaced parts on a plasma torch. The nozzle focuses the plasma arc by directing gas flow, so keeping the nozzle or cutting tip orifice clean, symmetrical, and the correct size is critical. Over time, normal cutting applications wear the tip, causing the arc to widen and become less defined. A worn nozzle can increase the kerf of the cut and reduce cutting speeds, making timely replacement key for optimal performance.
When to replace: The consumable should be replaced when the orifice becomes damaged, the edges are rounded, or it becomes misshapen. Failure to change these can result in poor cutting performance.
