This replacement nozzles, part number T-11840, is one of the most commonly replaced parts on a plasma torch. The nozzle focuses the plasma arc by directing gas flow, so keeping the nozzle or cutting tip orifice clean, symmetrical, and the correct size is critical. Over time, normal cutting applications wear the tip, causing the arc to widen and become less defined. A worn nozzle can increase the kerf of the cut and reduce cutting speeds, making timely replacement key for optimal performance.
