The Weltek Radikal PAPR system is the bigger brother of the hugely popular Weltek Navitek series. This kit contains the Radikal helmet, blower unit, belt, hose and filters to get you started. A great looking helmet, from the makers of Weltek in France, it combines the well tested Airkos blower unit, with a feature packed headtop. The Radikal has a number of high end attributes, including top rated optical clarity, top class inward leakage classification and fully adjustable head gear, to name just a few.
The Weltek Radikal has a super sleek airplane pilot type vibe which not only looks great, but provides great peripheral vision. Couple these ergonomics with shade 5 side panels and you have incredible vision of the weld puddle as well as goings on around you, for increased safety. The welding visor easily flips up, with a tweak of the side mounted trigger to leave a polycarbonate, grinding rated visor. The visor is ideal for pre and post weld clean up, as well as fitting up and preparation between welds. The presence of a clear screen allows the user to keep the helmet on to stay protected, rather than putting it on and taking it off between welds.
