Bohler AWS A5.9:ER309L/AWS:ER309LMo Thermanit 309L Stainless Steel Welding Wire
Solid wire, high-alloyed, stainless steel, austenitic Mig welding wire, it is specifically engineered for joining dissimilar steels, such as welding unalloyed or low-alloyed steels to stainless steels, and for applying intermediate buffer layers on cladded materials. Features a high Chromium (approx. 26%) and Nickel (approx. 13%) content to ensure safety against cracking after dilution, paired with a very low Carbon content to resist intercrystalline corrosion, best paired with Argon-heavy tri-mix blends (e.g., Argon/Helium/CO₂) or Argon + 2% CO₂ to optimise arc stability and minimise spatter.
