Bohler BS:A32 DCMS-IG Low Alloy Welding Wire

The Bohler DCMS-IG is a low-alloy, heat-resistant solid wire electrode for MAG welding of boiler, pipe, and heat-resistant CrMo steels. This welding wire is particularly suitable for materials with approximately 1.25% chromium and 0.5% molybdenum and is primarily used with steels such as 13CrMo4-5 , ASTM A335 P11/P12 , and comparable heat-treatable and case-hardening steels. According to the data sheet, the weld metal is approved for long-term use up to operating temperatures of 570 °C .

Due to its precisely formulated chemical composition, Bohler DCMS-IG has good mechanical properties, high toughness, and good resistance to alkali cracking. Its creep rupture strength values are within the range of the base material 13CrMo4-5 , making the wire particularly suitable for demanding applications in apparatus, boiler, and pipeline construction.
