Bohler BS:A33 CM 2-IG Low Alloy Welding Wire
Bohler CM 2-IG is a premium copper coated solid wire designed for gas metal arc welding (GMAW/MIG) of low alloyed, creep-resistant and heat resistant steels. It is widely used in high-temperature applications like oil refineries, boiler fabrication, and steam-pipe networks. The weld deposit is highly regarded for its excellent creep rupture strength and robust cracking resistance. The precise copper coating provides superior electrical contact, very good feeding characteristics, smooth arc performance, and excellent wetting behaviour. Typically requires an Argon-based mixed shielding gas (e.g., Ar + 15–25% CO₂).
