The FEIN VARIO 90° Impact Countersink M8/M10/M12/M16 is a professional-grade countersinking accessory engineered specifically for impact wrench and impact driver applications. Designed for high-speed impact use, this VARIO countersink delivers precise 90° chamfers and clean countersunk finishes while ensuring long service life and dependable performance in demanding industrial, fabrication and metalworking environments.
Manufactured from high-strength HSS material giving it a Long service life, thanks to high material strength (64 HRC), special cutting geometries suited to impact wrench/drivers and a TiAlN (titanium-aluminium-nitride) coating. The bits experience low levels of wear and friction as well as being heat-resistant to 800 °C. Thanks to the high speeds and number of blows, they can therefore be used in steel up to 900 N/mm². Perfectly suited to the following materials: non-alloyed and alloyed steels up to 900 N/mm², aluminium, brass.
With a 16.5mm /20.5mm/25mm/31mm diameter and 90° countersink angle, this tool is ideal for producing precise countersunk holes for M8/M10/M12/M16 applications. The VARIO bit shaft interface ensures secure tool engagement and efficient torque transfer, making it suitable for non-alloyed and alloyed steels up to 900 N/mm², as well as aluminium and brass in professional fabrication, assembly and maintenance work.
