A filter regulator is a very important part of a compressed air set up and is often overlooked. The regulator allows the user to adjust the pressure being delivered to the equipment or air tool. Too much pressure to an air tool can quickly wear out or damage it and can even be dangerous. The filter removes any water associated with the condensation from compressing air.
