GCE 0769230 ARCNM Rivet Cutting Nozzle - for Acetylene fuel gas, the UK version is only available in a single size and has just two pre-heating flame cones.
This ARCNM nozzle is bent to facilitate removal of bolt heads, rivet heads and protrusions from a surface allowing plates to be taken apart reworked and joined once more.
Compared to the traditional curved ARCNM this design facilitates the easy removal of a bulkhead without "scarring" the other side. Running the flat edge of the nozzle across the base material ensures the cutting stream remains parallel to the base. Once the bulkhead has been removed there is very little material left to be cleaned (ground) away.
Do NOT tilt the nozzle in use otherwise scarring will occur resulting in more rework.
