The GenSet MPM 5/180 is a reliable, portable and powerful diesel welder generator designed for professional welders. Featuring 170A welding current and 5kVA rated power, this generator is capable of welding a variety of materials and thicknesses and is suitable for tough construction jobs. Its diesel engine is fuel efficient and offers excellent run time, making it the perfect choice for demanding welding jobs. An Italian made diesel engine driven welder generator. A stepless welding current adjustment from 40A to 170A allows the user to run up to 4mm welding rods. The generator side of this Genset offers both a 110V socket and a 230V socket, perfect for on site work, running angle grinders, lighting etc.
This portable, compact, lightweight and easily transportable engine driven welder, is equipped with a Yanmar L100V 3000 RPM engine and is fitted for remote control operation. A quality alternator provides a better welding current quality, with a clean and distortion free wave form.
Just like all the GenSet engine driven welders it is designed to be used as both a generator and welder simultaneously, its simple and smart design allows easy handling too.
Powered by a stage 5 compliant Yanmar L100V engine, you can be rest assured that the machine is built to last and will stand up to Industrial use. Further features of the Genset MPM 5/180 is an electric start for easy starting, auto idle and a voltmeter.
