The Redrock 200t Conventional Welding Rotator Set. Engineered for the most demanding heavy-duty fabrication projects, this high-capacity turning roll system is the essential equipment for achieving flawless, automated circumferential welding on large, cylindrical work-pieces such as pressure vessels, wind tower production, storage tanks, and large-diameter piping.

This robust set comprises one powerful drive unit and one heavy-duty idler unit, providing a massive 200-ton total rotation capacity to handle vessels up to 7440 mm in diameter. The system uses premium, durable Polyurethane tyres (Ø660 mm x 550 mm, Shore ‘A’ 90-95) which deliver superior grip, prevent work-piece marking, and ensure smooth, consistent rotation across the full range of operational loads.

Precision control is guaranteed by the drive system, which allows for fully variable roller speeds from an ultra-slow 186 mm/min up to 1860 mm/min (at 5 to 50Hz). This meticulous speed control is crucial for maintaining optimal weld quality during critical processes.

• High-Traction Wheels: Utilises premium, replaceable vulcanised Polyurethane (PU) tyres bonded directly onto solid cast-steel drums. This design protects work-pieces from marking, dampens structural shock loads, and ensures zero wheel slippage under full 100-tonne point loads. 
• Rigid Base Frame: Fabricated entirely from 100% heavy structural steel. The base is surface-treated via grit-blasting to an SA 2.5 standard, followed by two protective coats of zinc phosphate and a high-durability finish coat to resist harsh welding shop environments.
• Manual Wheel Centre Realignment: Operates via manually aligned wheel brackets bolted into fixed positioning slots. This fixed-centre layout offers unparalleled lateral stability and allows for lower vessel seating heights compared to self-aligning alternatives
• Inverter Speed Tuning: Driven by variable-frequency AC inverter controls with integrated fan cooling for smooth, continuous, step-less speed adjustment across standard frequency ranges. 
• Heavy Industrial Pendant: Equipped with a 10-metre heavy-duty cable coupled to a low-voltage hand-held control pendant.
