OXFORD MULTIMIG 4X WIRE FEED UNIT

The Oxford 4X wire feed unit to fit the Oxford MultiMIG series of British made MIG welders.

Fitted with a 4 roll all geared drive for precise feeding of MIG wire, perfect for running longer MIG torches and using softer wires such as Aluminium.  A 4 roll drive has superior gripping of the wire to ensure it is pushed through the torch without slipping.

The Oxford 4X Wire feed unit has a euro connection on it to allow most industry standard torches to fit.  A spool cover is supplied as standard to cover the MIG wire

The Oxford 4X wire feeder, much like the MultiMIG is British designed and built with the same ethos as their power sources.  Complexity is kept to a minimum, no electronics or controls are fitted to ensure maximum resilience and minimal parts to fail.

Feeder cases measure 180W x 230H x 420Lat a weight of 9.8KG.

Just select an interconnecting cable 5 metres to 20 metres in length and plug in in less than 2 minutes.

Need water cooling to the wire feeder?  Feel free to let us know and we can quote accordingly.

The 4X wire feeder can be used with an existing Oxford MultiMIG compact power source.  This will give the benefit of having a wire feed inside the power source, as well as a separate wire feed.  2 torches can be connected to one machine at a time.  So, 2 wire sizes or even 2 different wire materials can be loaded ready to be used very quickly.

Please note:  Oxford machines are built to order and may take 7 – 14 working days from order to be built and dispatched.  If you place an order online, one of sales team will be in touch to confirm delivery time scales.  Also note our returns policy for these machines on our terms and conditions page.

THE TBWS VERDICT:

We have been supplying the Oxford range of machines for a very long time now. They are just simply built to last! You just know that you can go to these welders, turn them on and away you go. Oxford parts availability is some of the best out there too. Also, in the event of needing technical advice, you can talk to the people that designed and made the machine!
