The Automa GIOVE Welding Pipe Roller system is supplied with a powered roller and an idle roller, suitable for the powered rolling of pipes and tubes up to 500KG.  Made by welding positioner specialist Automa in Italy, these 230v welding positioners enhance productivity when welding items such as pipe, shafts, wheels, elbows and other cylindrical workpieces.  The pipe sits on the rollers and the powered roller will turn it at a constant speed to aid welding the join.  The system is supplied on a slotted aluminium base, allowing the rollers to be positioned to suit the diameter of pipe being turned.

Capable of securing a workpiece diameter between 20 – 500mm, the roller drive has a DC electric motor to turn the workpiece. The integrated gearbox ensures smooth operation.

Other features include a continuously adjustable speed range of 80 – 1700 mm/min, making it suitable for both MIG and TIG applications.  The pipe roller has an aluminium base and the wheels are polyurethane coated.
