Bohler Foc A 7-A (Special Applications & Dissimilar Joints) Stainless Steel Stick Electrodes
These are covered electrodes, rutile coated, high-alloyed, austenitic stainless steel stick electrode designed for joining dissimilar steels, hard-to-weld problem steels, general repair work, & special applications.
Features
- The weld deposit provides exceptionally high ductility, elongation, and resistance to hot cracking.
- Resistant to embrittlement down to service temperatures of –110 °C, scaling up to +850 °C, and able to withstand mechanical cavitation or thermal shock.
- Joining unalloyed/low-alloy steels to stainless steels (dissimilar joints), buffering layers prior to hard-facing, and repairing cracked or high-carbon components.
