Bohler Fox CEL 70-P (Cellulosic) Pipeline Steel Stick Electrodes
The Bohler Fox CEL 70-P are premium low alloy, cellulose coated stick electrodes engineered specifically for high efficiency vertical down welding in large diameter pipeline construction. Classified under the AWS A5.5 E7010-P1 standard, it is highly regarded for its intensive arc, fluid weld pool, and high deposition rates, making it significantly more cost-effective than traditional uphill welding methods.
Features
- Optimised for hot pass, filler, and capping layers on higher-strength steel. It can also be used for root runs up to API Grade X80 steels.
- Extensively tested and approved for sour gas applications according to NACE TM-02-84 (HIC test) and SSC metrics.
- Suitable for unalloyed and low-alloy pipe steels including API Spec. 5L Grade A, B, X42 through X65
