Bohler Fox CEL 90 (Cellulosic) Pipeline Steel Stick Electrodes
The Bphler Fox CEL 90 are premium, high strength cellulose coated stick electrodeswhich are specifically designed for high-productivity, vertical-down (downhill) SMAW welding of large-diameter, high-strength oil and gas transmission pipelines, recommend a preheat of 150°C (300°F) for thick-walled pipes to mitigate hydrogen-induced cracking risks.
Features
- Optimised for hot passes, filler runs, and capping layers in high-strength pipeline construction.
- Features an aggressive, powerful arc providing excellent penetration capability and fine-droplet melting behaviour.
- Delivers high safety margins against porosity or slag inclusions while maintaining good weld pool visibility.
- Fully tested and approved for sour gas applications (HIC-Test according to NACE TM-02-84 and SSC testing). It is highly resistant to diverse weathering conditions
