Bohler Fox CN 13/4 (Martensitic Steels) Stainless Steel Stick Electrodes

These are high alloyed, low hydrogen stick electrodes engineered for welding soft martensitic & martensitic- ferritic stainless steels. These specialised electrodes are widely trusted for components requiring a balance of high tensile strength, exceptional crack resistance, and reliable structural toughnes. The metallurgical composition is designed to withstand harsh environments involving moving water, high pressures, and thermal stresses like in hydro turbines, compressors & Pumps, used heavily in compressor construction, high-efficiency boiler elements, and steam turbine components.

Features

  • Delivers a yield strength of ≥ 600 N/mm² and tensile strength of ≥ 800 N/mm² (post-weld heat-treated at 600°C).
  • Provides premium protection against cavitation, erosion, and corrosion caused by water, steam, and sea-water atmospheres.
  • Features high arc stability, easy slag removal, smooth bead appearance, and excellent out-of-position weldability (except vertical-down)

Technical Data

  • Classification AWS A5.4 / SFA-5.4, E410NiMo-15
  • EN ISO 3581-A, E 13 4 B 6 2
