Bohler Fox EAS 4 M-VD (Austenitic Steel) Stainless Steel Stick Electrodes
These are low- carbon , core - wire alloyed rutile-base-coated welding electrodes, applications in various branches of industry where similar, also higher carbonaceous , steels are welded , especially in the vertically descending welding position.
Very suitable for thin plates which will deform less quickly due to the high welding speed and thus heat input. The weld metal offers excellent resistance to inter-crystalline corrosion up to 400 ° C & has excellent welding properties, the welding of the stabilised CrNiMo- steel is also possible.

- Especially designed with a fast-freezing slag for vertical-down welding-it is possible to save up to 50% of the welding time as compared to the vertical-up position.
- High travel speeds limit overall heat input into the metal sheets, radically minimising post-weld straightening work.
