The ESAB Caddy 151i is now the 5th generation ESAB's portable inverter welding equipment, with over 30 years of inverter technology built in. The Caddy Arc 151i is a compact and portable inverter for MMA and scratch start Tig welding. The more advanced Caddy A33 panel gives you a digital display, hot-start and arc force control to fine tune the welding, a choice of MMA or TIG welding, LiveTig start in TIG mode, two memories and remote control facility. Both panels are easy to understand and set, even when wearing welding gloves. The machines are equipped with the large OKC 50 cable connectors with higher durability. Caddy is built in accordance with IP23, which means it can be used outdoors – even in the rain.

Caddy Arc supplies direct current and you can weld most metals including alloyed and non alloyed steel, stainless steel and cast iron. With Caddy® Arc 151i you can weld most electrodes from Ø1.6 - 3.2 mm and some 4 mm electrodes. The Caddy A33 control panel has the latest regulator, ArcPlus II, that provides a more intense, yet smooth and stable arc that is easy to control. Arc Plus™ II generates smaller droplets, the arc burns smoothly and there is no need to pause at the edges when weaving. ArcPlus™ II offers even better welding characteristics, simplifies your work and gives you better weld quality with less need for post weld treatment.

With Caddy Arc you can easily TIG-weld. All you need is a TIG torch with a gas valve, a gas regulator and a cylinder of gas. Panel Caddy A33 gives you LiveTig start that electronically controls the start current. You can weld mild steel or stainless steel with or without filler material.
